What’s your go to frag rack?

What is your go to frag rack?

Is there a specific type of frag rack that you use or does anything work what is everyone using for racks these days?

I try to stay away from the n52 racks as I’ve had issues on multiple occasions with their magnets corroding.

Now I use Reefing art racks and they are rad. No complaints. So far…….

If I had room I would set up a whole frag tank

I like reefing art acclimation boxes. I still use the dreaded magnetic racks. They’re convenient, but there’s obviously a risk. I have a few frags in my sump. And one rack on the glass in my display. I don’t like having them in my sump. Having lighting strong enough in my sump means I’m also growing algae and aptasia since I don’t have the organisms to control them in the sump (snails, peppermint shrimp, rabbit fish, etc)

They have good products, I own a few of the vertical coral frag racks also note if its too large, you can email them and they will make custom sizes upon request

I just got the vertical hanging one I’m definitely diggin it. It shades a bit on the bottom in the back if you have the top two full, but I think if I fiddle with my lighting a bit I’ll be able to get enough back there for some low lighters.

I’m torn on boxes between reefing art and octo aquatics the-shu I’m leaning towards octo aquatic because of its larger design with serious magnets for 1/2” glass. I luckily have a refugium I can use in the sump area but I still keep most of them in the display.

I used to have access to a laser cutter at work and made acrylic housing for the magnets.. Acrylic will fuse to egg crate with acrylic solvent.

Now I no longer have access to laser cutter.. I did buy a 3D printer.. I probably can make enclosures for the magnets and glue/fuse/hook it to the egg crates if I needed more frag racks.
