      Question about PPM

Need some help, on the Hanna Marine Master test unit the high range nitrate reads 0.3 ppm. Is that less than 1 PPM or is it 3ppm?

And the phosphate ULR (Ultra low range) reads 0.08ppm is that still less than 1ppm? They both are ppm, why does one have more decimals than the other? I'm so confused!

So your Phos is less than 1ppm it is .08ppm which is a great place to be with Phos

Onto the nitrate you are pretty low I normally keep mine at 10-20ppm of nitrate which you will see a dramatic change in color and extension of polyps in corals when you get that nitrate up a bit.
