I had an outbreak last year. tried file fishes, tried nudis, tried manual removal... non of it worked. What worked was putting in 5 peppermint shrimp from aquatic warehouse. They completely wiped out all the aiptasias! I could not believe it! I see them roaming at night all over looking for more. Think there is still one big pale one in my overflow box where the shrimps can't get to... but if it's putting out any babies, the shrimps are certainly eating them. but yeah, i should go remove that sucker.

      Anyway, highly recommend peppermint shrimp.

Peppermint shrimp FTW.... but remove them after they clear out all the aiptasias.. cuz they might go for your LPS next.. (Torches, hammers, octo)

Also virtually impossible to get peppermints in right now, there’s a massive shortage of them.
