      Mixing water

Any downside to filling new tank with
RODI, cranking up a pair of MP40s and then adding salt?

Imo I'd pre mix the salt in a trash can then add to the tank. Some of these newer pharma grade salt mixes get super hot. Seen a tank blow out possibly due to the heat.
Not saying it will happen but why risk it. I have BTW mixed salt directly in. The tank w/ zero issues. Pretty nice tank you got there

No problem with filling the tank with RODI then cranking up the flow and mixing in the tank. I’ve always done it that way and I will always continue doing it that way.

I would say if you’re worried to just add the salt slowly and watch the temp.

I’ve done it many of times without any effect but if I had spent that amount on a tank I would just mix in bins and add to my tank.
