      OG Greetings from Nashville!

      Hello SDReefer's!

Its been a full year and a half since I sold my aquarium servicing route in sunny SD and moved to Nashville TN. How's everyone doing?? I log in here every once in a long while.. its good to see some familiar faces still around!

Aquarium-wise... I only have a small 20g tank as my "personal" tank.. it gets sadly neglected and hasn't had a water change in 6+ months lol..

Business-wise... I just acquired a competitors' aquarium servicing company and am merging it with my own.. I now have (115) clients!

Family-wise... baby #4 is on the way!

Hello I never met you but I do remember seeing you on the boards, so how is your new experience in Tenn. I know SD is a lovely place but so darn expensive. How is the heat, I am in the IE it is hot but not humid. Are the houses cheaper?

Howdy! Nashville is growing EXTREMELY fast. There is new construction everywhere. Prices five years ago (before we arrived) were dirt cheap. Prices a year and a half ago when we moved here were on the rise, but still cheaper than SD. Now, prices feel about the same as they did in SD a year and a half ago.. maybe a tad less, but very close.

We had 25 days in a row that the temp was over 90*... pretty hot. We actually have seasons here.. Spring is beautiful, summer is hot and humid, Autumn is beautiful, and winter can be wet and miserably, but also cold and pretty.

Overall, I love it here - feels like home.

Thanks for sharing your experiences, it seems the last 3 years have been really good for some and tough on others. So there is still some hope for the people of Ca.

      Hello Chris,

I hope you are enjoying the freedom that TN offers! I still have the nanocube you sold me, my first tank, it is going great!
