Custom tank vendor?

I’m looking to put up a new display now that I’ve moved. Crystal dynamics tanks look really nice, but they are so expensive. Does anyone have experience with other vendors for custom tanks, ideally less expensive option? My last tank was a SCA and it was ok, but I just bought the tank and it wasn’t custom.

I’m leaning towards a 48”x30”x24” peninsula layout.

That size isn’t really a custom tank almost all manufacturers will make that setup so shouldn’t be hard to find cheaper price. I’ve used SCA for 3 tanks and they all came out great no issues and prices on them were about standard for custom size. If you want a quality setup then you should really go with CDA. They are very friendly and local to San Diego so you could save money by picking it up yourself.

I liked my SCA tank, but they didn’t have the option for an external overflow (at least at the time). I didn’t like losing the space in the tank form their rectangular internal overflow.

Besides CDA and SCA, who else does this?

Planet aquariums / glass cages / reef savy / custom aquariums all those vendors will have good options

I too really like SCA and have had a few by now, and they do drill for external, but I just recently saw a reef savy that had a new external overflow that was just the weir/grill and no kind of box at all in tank and it sure looks clean.

Wow, Reef Savvy has a 9 month lead time. I wonder it that's due to popularity or supply chain issues.

When I was shopping custom tanks I asked Reef Savvy for a quote and it was double the CDA quote + freight. Those are nice but very spendy.
