      Dragon's breath macro algae

UPDATE: Holding off selling for this round. Will update when more grow out and I see how the "shipping simulation" algae do.

Under full spectrum whites in my fuge:

Much better contrast red/orange in the tank: (FYI, a half sandwich bag will hold 3-5x more than this)

      Dragon's breath macro algae

Thanks for the dragons breath and extras, Phil! The colors and health are impeccable. Not to mention the health your main display livestock. I can tell you put a lot of effort and care in your system. Very generous portions guys. The fiery red and bright orange tips contrast so well, don’t miss out!

Here’s a pick of just a small fraction of the portion pending final placement lol.

Thank you! =) Glad you like it. Pleasure meeting you!

Fuge is thinning out and maybe couple more portions for this round. But they grow pretty fast for me so I guess I'd always have some for sale.

Now I just need to figure out how to ship these... Online/ebay people sell tiny "frag" for $20 and they are out of stock! Will stop by the post office on the way home. heh

Need a few days maybe a week...

So.. I took a few portions to work yesterday in anticipation of people wanting to purchase/pick up during the day. Sold a couple but still had 3 portions left over. I decided/forgot to bring them back in.. so they sat in the car w/ no temp control in the sandwich bags in water they were packed in. Since I was thinking of shipping, I figured I'd see how they'll handle being in the car/garage overnight.

Couple hours ago, I went to get them about 27 hours after I've packed them. The water turned all pink, the structures feel soft/welted.. tips were super bright orange (indication that they are dying). Instead of just tossing them, I decided to put them back into the sump to see if they'll recover. Now they are all mixed in with the other healthy algae. Will see in a day/2 or few days if they die off or recover.

If i were to grab a hand full now.. I guess I could separate them out the questionable pieces.. but let's wait and see.

I'll bump this post and update in a few days. Thanks to all the people who bought a portion or two. =)
