      $$$Pay for a tank buff$$$?

If an acrylic tank has scratches, can they all be buffed out professionally? A friend is giving me a large tank but it has alot of small scratches covering a big area. Nothing deep. I want to pay to have it done right, Say $300-$500 for the job?

It's really not that difficult to remove the scratches yourself, as long as you have a good removal kit. I've buffed out a 40 gallon, and I'm eventually going to finish the 110 I have in the living room. . . . . eventually. . . . . .
