Yellow Tang

I have a buddy looking to sell his 3.5” yellow tang. I believe he wants 350.00-400.00 for the fish. I have a few pictures of the fish, but I do not know how to post them on here. I can email or text pics if someone is interested.

Yes, I was calling someone a schmuck. He said he “will buy an aqua cultured one for way cheaper” and that isn’t the case at the moment. Maybe just maybe, alagebarn will have them in stock at 130.00, will he will get it way cheaper. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case at the moment. 279.99 plus shipping for a captive bred yellow tang might cost more than what my friend is asking for his. So yea, he is foolish for making that statement. Unless, I’m wrong on retail price of them at the moment.

I actually don’t own a yellow tang lol. “The nerve”, hahah. The only joke here is you. SOME of us tend to buy wild caught fish and coral, so stating a glass box is “his home” is idiotic. That’s if we are still referring to this wild caught yellow tang I posted for my buddy.

I mean I wasn’t attacking you 😂 I was simply stating a fact. I saw an aquacultured tang for much less than what you and your friend are trying to ask. I mean let’s be honest, Hawaii has shut down before. It’s going to stay closed for a little while and then open back up.

I just won’t let myself be taken advantage of for a very common fish in this hobby, and I’m sharing information with my fellow SD Reefers. “Hey guys, support aqua-cultured animals and save some money.”

Someone must be a little butt hurt today if they want to resort to childish name calling 😂

Friend’s tang or not- it’s allowed to be posted for sale here without critique (those are the rules). Like it or not, 300 is the new normal for yellow tangs- I remember when gold torches weren’t 250 a head... now torches post here all day at that price without argument.
