      SDGE Power Outage

Hi everyone. Looks like those Santa Ana winds have really kicked up last night. There is a power outage advisory for SDGE. Please refer to their Public Safety Power Shut off page if your area is affected or will be potentially affected. I was looking online just a bit ago and petco carmel mountain is selling penn plax battery backup air pumps for about $14 curbside pick up. They open at 9am. Lets prevent that power outage from becoming an outrage (sorry, couldn’t help it &#128540. Hopefully this information might help a few folks. Good luck guys/gals!

My power went out at 930 pm. Battery backups did well until I could get my generator up and running. Circulation in the tank was good but my water dropped to 72.

Curious what kind of battery backups you have. My power was out for 12 hours and I had no access to tank and no battery backup. Luckily everything has survived but temp is slowly being brought back up from 70.4.

SDGE has posting saying areas can expect their power to be off until 12/6. That's going to be a stretch on battery power if that's all people have.

It had my area was going to be out until December 5, at 5:00pm starting on December 2 at 10:45pm. Luckily it was just 12 hours, but we got a call around 1:00pm saying our power may be out for up to 72 hours. Unfortunately, my little generator stopped working a few years ago. Hope everyone's tanks make it through these outages.

My power is still out. I hope my tank pulls through this okay. My battery backups are all but dead now but they worked okay for about 15 hours. I run 3 backups 2 icecaps and 1 ecotech connected to 2 MP 40s and 1 gyre 350. I have my generator running my heater and 1 power head, also running my refrigerator. So far I’ve gon through about 4 gallons of gas. My power better come on before the estimated December 6 turn on date

San Elijo Hills. Power finally back 38 hours later. Everything looks okay with no apparent issues. Gotta say the generator saved my ass for sure.

May have to invest in one. These power outages are only going to continue. I'm in San Elijo as well, but our electricity came back on after 12 hours. Crazy how much longer yours was off.

Yeah I noticed some areas of our neighborhood were on pretty quick and others like myself were out for some time. I think it’s all about which area you live in. I’m in the Meridian development cool to here there’s another reefer up here
