Question Tank Bowing Out, Possible Stress Cracks?

      180 gallons.

I'm told bowing out is to be expected and normal.

I'm not too sure about these stretch marks/cracks...

      1/4 inch thick I believe.

Are my garage toys in much danger? Been about 165 gal of water for the past week and half with no issues. Did one 60 gal water change yesterday. No major animals in there yet. Just some LR, LS, a couple hermit crabs and chitons.

looks at least 1/2 inch to me. The bowing IS normal, and that bowing doens't lok bad at all. As for those strech mark things, that's pretty much what they are. I wouldn't worry too much about it. . . . how old is that tank?

No idea how old this tank is, but I bet it's pretty old. The top split in two once before and has a thick piece glued on, holding it together. I'll measure it as soon as I find a ruler or bring one home from school.
