Though I’d ask before expanding my search to LA and national. LMK. Missed out on jaypainter’s lemon drops years ago. Might try again for a yellow bta.

You are on the right track... Lemon drops is a yellow phase variant of Chicago Sunburst. They are rare and hard to find. A guy on Facebook group just had a split turn full yellow. Not sure if he'd be willing to sell it. I can ask.
I have a few ChSBs but i'm still in the grow out phase and not looking to sell yet.
I heard you had them, but weren’t selling, ahah. I did just find one in R2R, so I’m excited to see what it does in my tank.
Cool. Did you already buy it? Got a link? Would have referred you to people I know with solid reputations.
You don't have other nems in the tank/system right?
@phil
I was talking to Derek about it earlier, here's the link:

Apparently it's one from Tom Honeycutt himself.
I do have another small bta in the tank, but it’s like a golf ball size in a 100 gallon tank. I was looking for a good dealer, but saw the link above at a decent price so I jumped on it.
*nod* $600 is a great price. It's a bit dull but should color up in your tank. In the mean time, highly recommend you get rid of the other bta.
Hit up Tom Honeycutt on Facebook
It came in more yellow than I was expecting, hoping it stays that way.

Nice nem!
I picked one up from TSA corals (pretty sure that was the vendor) about a year ago... as it grew to full size it has become less colorful or it may just be that it opens so large that the colors are more diluted but I am not overly impressed. It is a bit brighter than some of my best rainbow anems with a darker center than the others but to be fair my rainbow anems are pretty bright. I also grabbed a black widow anem from him that I think I like a bit more and was less money.
I corrected the vendor, it was TSA, top shelf aquatics

Knight, you have them all in the same tank/system? if so, that could explain the loss of colors. In general, you should never mix a Sunburst with any other type of nems due to possible chemical/bacterial warfare. Many have lost theirs probably due to mixing and in my case, I certainly experienced it but luckily mine all recovered after removal of all my rainbows. Blackwidows are even worse and usually will kill other nems in due time.
