These are actually on my frag tank right now, but on the new display I’m actually going to be trying out an LED from Aquatic Life and HM Electronics called the CoreX. They’ve been on the tank about a week now and seem pretty solid. Hopefully get a build thread started here soon.

I’m curious to see how this fixture looks and performs! The AquaticLife CoreX I tried looking for a YouTube video on this fixture. I couldn’t find one. Can you please let me know how they performed and if you think it’s worth buying them. I was actually looking at them today. They are very reasonable on price. Mite have to try them out..

Yeah there isn’t much information out there on them yet, but hopefully I can help share my thoughts soon.
The lights themselves look awesome. Very sleek and lightweight.
I’ve had them on the tank for three weeks and visibly I’d compare the color to AI Hydras with a bit of that Kessil shimmer. Corals are responding well, but I’m going to give it 8-12 weeks before sharing thoughts on coral growth/coloration. Need to do PAR testing still.

Yeah, I’d recommend the larger one XP48. I’ve got two across my 5’ tank so that should be the equivalent of one over the 30” long lagoon. Send me a text if you want to come see them in person.
