      i could use some advise please

      ive just set up my 55g tank yesterday ive had it runnin for about 15 hours and its still cloudy i got the water from scripps havent added my live rocks. (my buddy is holdin them for me in his reef tank) should i be worried or just wait ?

      cloudy water, no problem, it will clear up.

      whenever you like. I would do it ASAP because your water is just gonna get all stirred up and cloudy again. No sense in waiting for it to clear up twice

      KAcatfish...after you get your rocks in, and arranged how you like them, use the time to surf around online for more info. reefcentral.com is a good place to start for reading tons of information, as well as wetwebmedia.com. read as much as you can. You can never read too much info for this hobby.

      Oh, and for your rocks, make sure you push the bottom one's through till they're resting on the glass, not the sand.

      You can add your live rock now, supaboy is right. You can also add some carbon and a micron bag to help speed up the process (if your running a sump)

      Place synthetic pillow filling in your filter if you have one...it will clear the tank up in no time. You can get the filling at a fabric store.

      i just got a 55 gal tank and a cpr model cyho2 skimmer for $100 from my friend i need some lights if anyone has any extra let me know ive gone to the stores and there expensive im tryin to sell one of my paintball guns for some cash from on hobby to another. i also have 15pd of live rock in the tank at the moment. its still cloudy not as much.
