      Live sand from established tank

Looking for some live sand from an established tank. For some reason when I added bagged live sand (natures ocean bio active live sand) it caused a massive Dino outbreak in my already established nano tank. My parameters were all fine, so I don’t understand why the Dino’s appeared. They disappeared as soon as I removed the sand, which I did over the course of a few water changes.

It’s been cycled for about a year and a half. The tank itself is new, (roughly a month and a half)but all the live rock corals etc. came out of my already established tank. It’s covered in corraline algae and sponges, so I don’t get why the sand caused Dinos.
