My five tangs all have a large shell that conform to their bodies snugly to rest behind. I would make more hiding areas if this were my reef & also build a wall to conceal the distracting sides. I really enjoyed the equipment design & execution just as much.
      Spectacular work!

I recall you had all those fish in like a 75 or 90g holding tank all that time and amazed they all got along well in such a tight space then, so I'm gusessing they must be pretty happy w/ all that swim space now(Though I don't see your crosshatch's...)

I think the only thing I would suggest, I know you wanted to see from both sides, but perhaps a black curtain you could open or close so you can get cool pics w/out garage clutter in background, but other than that it looks great to me!

(And when you're ready to burn a little more cash maybe we can add some raised panel doors to that front base cab)

Yes, there’s fights here and there but all the tangs seem to be fine at this point. I had to take a chevron tang out since the white tail tang and Kole teamed up on him.

As for the xhatches, it was a sad day when I added them. Male went crazy then I saw him eat a sailfin wrasse for dinner so unfortunately, I had to let them go.

And yes! Good idea on the curtain. I’m in the garage a ton so I like being able to view from there but curtains will def solve the problem when viewing from the living room.

When you come over next, I’ll let you know of another project brewing in my head. Haha.

Couple of my Tonga rock broke off so basically had to redo the scape. Little annoyed but oh well.
