      Jebao DC Pump Help

Purchased a used Jebao DCP 6500 pump from R2R. Seller shipped it to me without O-rings and nuts, and he knew I wanted to use it as an on-line pump. Does anyone know if I can find pvc fittings at HD that work on the threads on these pumps? I included a screenshot and circled missing parts.

You should be able to find female threaded pvc connectors for it. You will probably need to use reducers to get it down the the tubing size you want. That’s how I run my Simplicty DC return pump.

You can also trying looking for parts on Ebay and Amazon. They both carry a lot of Jebao parts. I might even have a old pump that has those fittings. Can you measure the outlet and post a pic?

I used one for my mixing station with just threaded pvc with pipe tape and had zero leaks

Thanks Derek and Shaun. Sounds like HD should have all I need.

Ray here's a photo of OD of outlet. BTW, very interested in some sps frags if you do end up selling. Is that new beast of a tank up and running yet?

As inconvenient as it sounds, I'd bring the pump with you to avoid repeated trips. Also AW may have replacement parts on the wall above the test kits.

For sure. We all know how that goes...many repeated trips to HD because we forgot a fitting or grabbed wrong size.

      Jebao DC Pump Help

Yeah like drama said just bring the pump inside with you and test fit everything, use some plumbers tape on the threads to prevent leaks, you can also buy o ring kits online

Yeah in my experience with jebao pumps the threading is standard and spots like home depot should have parts for em. I tried another DC pump a bit ago and the thread spacing was different (might've been metric?) but I wasn't able to match it even with the correct sized fitting.

If you don't wanna be lugging the pump around HD you could just bring the caged screen and back size it to find the correct fitting ...I'm assuming that part still has the inner section that threads onto the pump(?)

I use a threaded union on the pump, making it easily removed for cleaning down the road ...as shaun noted just make sure to use thread seal tape if it's external though

Sorry Brian, couldn't find a fitting for that in my aquarium hoard. Tank is up along with a beast frag tank. You should come by sometime.

At HD now and 2" female adapter too big, 1 1/2 adapter too small and no pvc pipes fit inside outlet/inlet of pump. Any other suggestions other than order replacement parts?

Will this work? Off an old DC pump, but I think they are all the same motor blocks
