Update:
I let the cap off since yesterday and it still smell like a rotten egg to this day!
I was told To run a carbon to get rid of the smell!

Any thoughts!

I went yesterday and the smell was so bad, I ended up dumping the water when i got home!

So I did ran carbon using whisper filter for at least 6 hours and the smell did not go away.
I end up dumping it

When I posted this I mixed 10g scripps and 10g RO/DI is Tropic Marin Pro Reef salt. I dumped all of it.

Water is still nasty. It's not all bubbly but is thick and full of particulates.

Any update on the SMELLY water at Scripps? TIA

It’s only smells like 5% I got some water on Friday, I let the water sit to see if the debris would settle to the bottom, no debris. I did an almost 50% water change yesterday through a filter sock. Nothing has died. I only did this because I had good reserved water on stand by just in case things turned out for the worse, but they didn’t.

Got 30g of scripps water today. It’s very clean and no smell at all.

When did you do your water change?

Sorry 4 t late reply... i did it when the actual tide was on but still by then it was stinky...i could say like 3 or 4 days that the tide started...

Is it okay to store scripps water? for maybe 2-3 weeks tops?
