That’s awesome SammieT, gonna be a nice setup for sure. That’s my fav tank at the moment. Such a unique design.
That tank is sweet! I'll be following to see how this build goes.
Some advice would be nice from you guys..
need a way to mount my apex
show me what you guys got set up
I was going to get some star board and mount mine to that, drill some holes for cable management. I didnt go this route due to rid out being closed for now.
Instead I mounted to some plywood and placed in a mini locker that matched my color theme.
Plywood works great though. Just layout everything you want on the control board. Neptune has some of files for hole drilling templates. Print & Cut those out, arrange them on the plywood, drill them out. Then paint the wood to the color you choose wait to dry and then install.
One thing I would keep in mind is cord lengths on equipment. Dont install energy bars or modules so far away that you have not enough cord. Also maybe look into 1 ft extension cords so you can plug in all of you gadgets cleanly without blocking outlets due to various size plugs.
I bought a bathroom standup cabinet and just transformed that into a controller cabinet worked well for me and they are normally very slim from to back so it doesn’t take up a lot of space
