      Apex Neptune or ghl

Only have experience with Neptune apex jr and classic and so far I haven’t had any real issues with them. There is a bit of a learning curve but it’s was pretty easy to setup after watching a few videos and reading a few forum posts. It’s definitely paid for itself by now as it has caught and alerted me more than a few times that something was wrong, like malfunctioning heater, low water level, dosing pump running dry, overflowing skimmer.

More to the ghl than the apex imo, but equally as nice. Once you get past both learning curves, they are both good choices.
The ghl will be releasing there own reef tester as well soon after this virus thing is over. Looks better than the trident

They already have the kh Director for alkalinity and the ion Director will handle the other two but you’re not limited to them. I believe there is a nitrates test in the works for the ion director. When comparing apex to ghl, physically hold both & you’ll be able to tell which is built better. Ghl also offers stand alone versions of all their equipment. My favorite difference is that ghl stacks much nicer- they all have the same form (rack mount). Apex has a larger community & is easier to program. Apex’s Alexa integration is better. Ghl is initially more expensive but it is built to last- I cannot say the same for apex.

I do agree that you can’t go wrong with either-

Why is ghl better? I've had two Apex classics. They work but never looked to see if anything has better controlling
