D's new build and short bio

I seen a few others members sharing new builds. Here is my new build.

I picked up Mike's 93g SCA tank and stand. Big thanks to Mike! I'll try and do it justice.
To prevent ramble, here is the equipment list, plans and current state. Still not wet but almost ready.

      Tank: SCA 93g
      Dimensions: 48"L×28"W×16"H
      Sump: Eshhops 36, older model
      Skimmer: Octo Elite150-S w/swabi
      Avast Davey Jones Locker
      Heater: 2x 300w Finnex titanium
      Inkbird temp controller
      Finnex temp controller
Apex 2016 wifi full version w/ extra 832
      Return(s) 2x varios2 dual return
      Manifold: varios4
      Vertex rx6-d ca rx
      Carbon doser
      Versa pump for rx
Milwaukee ph controller as well as the apex/ orp swap for ph
      Ato: tunze 3155
      Flow: 3x nero5
Lighting: 2x g5 XR30 blues mounted on rms rail
      Reactors: 2x Aquamaxx fr-se

      Items still looking to acquire:
      25w UV
      1/4hp chiller
      Ph probe
      Breakout box
      Flow meters & FMM
      Pm1
      Trident
      Custom lid
      Canopy? Maybe

      Plans:
      Bare bottom
      Sps dominate mixed reef
Cycle for 2 months. I grabbed that new brightwell starter bacteria pack. Just seed the tank full of bacteria for a few months and then throw some tester sps. Dial in the ca rx. Maintain and test.

I'd like to still aquire a few pieces of equipment before getting this tank wet. I've played with a scape a few times and think I'm just going to go with what I have. Still need to glue and epoxy it all together. Also need to finish running wires and stuff to the control locker.

Onto the pics, just reached my upload limit, oops, didnt realize there was a limit.
I'll try and update as things progress

Only thing I would bring up is how tall the rock work is in some places. If your trying to do Sps it is gonna limit growth with some corals if you have it to close to the top of the water line. This is all from my experiences with doing shallow Sps type tanks even in my new cube I slightly built the scape to tall. Just food for thought before everything is wet

I've been thinking this as well. Highest point in scape is at 9 1/2". Tank is only 16" tall.
I can remove a few of the pieces on top. They were placed simply to cover seams in the rock structure. I'll pull some pieces off and see if I can just add in rubble over the seams instead of full chunks of rock.

      Edit:
I just took the top layer off the middle and left side max hieght now on rock work is 8", 1 or 2 corners have a 3" area of rock that peaks at 9". Rock Structucture has the same overall look, just not so bulky now.
I appreciate any and all feed back. Gonna wait to glue and epoxy and look at it for a day of so. Wish I could share a pic now. I've exceeded my limit on tapatalk

Waiting on a UV and more plumbing for a manifold.

Removed top layer of rocks and reduced scape height. Epoxie and glue has begun. Letting it set up for a week before another round and filling cracks with rubble.

      More wire wrangling to do.

Calcium reactor to assemble and plumb in.

Trying to track down a trident.

Chiller is last on the list but can be added any time via manifold.

Tiny bit more then going to get her wet. Biggest concern at this point is the overflow leaking and having to pull the tank away from the wall. Pics soon

Thanks. UV and some more plumbing showed up today. Will be working on this as time allows.

Took the top layer of rock off as recommended for more room for grow out and started to epoxie together, still want to add some more glue and epoxie with rubble to hide the un natural seams.
If any one wants specific pics lmk

Few updated picsone of the c vue 40, just added the middle rock and took some frags off the sand
