      Reactor Media

Just got back into the hobby and the setup I purchased came with a medium sized media reactor. There's a lot of different media options and just wanted to see if anyone can give me a recommendation which way to go. Thanks in advance!

Personal opinion, just run some carbon. It’s relatively inexpensive and can help with contaminants in your water and help keep it clear.

GFO/rowaphos can be used in specific cases, but it realistically just strips phosphate so quickly it can have negative effects on corals.

      Welcome back to the hobby!

Awesome, that's what I was leaning towards so that helps a lot! And thanks, excited to fill this bad boy up!
