      Cheap RODI system?

Any recommendations? One, I'm sick of having to retrieve 5 gallon jugs for our 180 gallon but with all the craziness I'm worried water machines will sell out. Dont have $300 for the one I want but anyone have a cheap recommendation?

Also curious if anyone knows of if any exist we can get installed by a company that will do at home drinking water AND let us use for the reef tank. Is that do-able?

Check amazon. You can get a 6-stage for around $150.

Spectrapure has refurbished units if you check their site you might find one cheap enough.
Make sure you get one that deals w/ chloramines, has a chloramine block.
Most RO/DI units will have a bypass so you can get just RO for drinking

Check used section here as well, I've seen a couple decent units.

Look on Amazon for the RO buddie. It shout get you by for a while. If I remember it’s less than a 100.00. But you’ll need the additional cartridge to get the chloramine out. Still not too bad though, as recall all in its 139.00 or 149.00. Given how bad the water is in SD county you should get about 90 - 100 gallons out of a set of filters. Filters aren’t too bad to replace though.
