Looks like some sort of nudibranch, but hard to tell, either way start manual removal/dipping and make sure to check for eggs!
It looks like montipora eating nudis. I had them years ago and I bought a six line wrasse and haven’t had them since
+1 on nudis but not the monti eating ones...although they do have similar coloration and cerata (the feathery plumes running down their body -actually their lungs fyi). I'm curious, how big are they or maybe how big was that bowl? Any chance you got a profile pic?
Another +1 for dipping/looking for eggs as well as a wrasse. Either a sixline or my goto for pests like this is a yellow coris but they can be harder to find sometimes. Good luck bud and keep us posted
Thanks for the info. Haven’t seen other nudis that look like this. I can read it a little in the pic but looks like the container is 1 cup
Thanks guys! I think I figured out what they are. Tritonia hamnerorum. They feed exclusively on gorgonian sea fans. I dipped and fragged the sea fan. Also just added a yellow coris wrasse to try and help out.
