$500,000,000 spent on presidential campaign or a nice house with a super reef tank?

Mike Bloomberg spent about $500,000,000 on the presidential race but now has dropped out of the race.

Driving to work today and thinking of what kind of house, cars, and reef tank that I can get with 500 million dollars LOL.

A helluva nice tank... for sure.

Actually, probably an entire island in the pacific, with a brand new off the grid house, your own farm, etc...

It's crazy how much money is spent by these candidates for a shot at the presidency. Money could have been better spent on programs to help people in real need.

I always talk about making a reef in the backyard like an in ground pool so you could go snorkling. Then an underground viewing area connected to the house by stairs and a tunnel. It would probably have to be in a green house unless you had an awesome heating and cooling system. I bet anythings possible with $500 mil. If only.

It’s just the sad nature of our political system. Not “everyone” can be president. If you only make 50k a year and didn’t own a successful business, a political party will question your ability to run one of the world’s largest economies and won’t nominate you. If you haven’t been elected to a high enough position in government, that same party will say you don’t have the experience required to hold the highest office and again, won’t nominate you. That leaves only two types of people who can become president: Wealthy business people and career politicians. Not very “representative” of the average American IMO.
