Has anyone on here tried Sous Vide?
I’m thinking of buying an Anova.
Not personally but have a buddy that says it was the best steak he’s ever had... I’ll be giving it a try at some point- (replied to follow & hear about your experience)
I have a different brand, does the same. Best thing, try buy a Picanha steak and sous it, then fire grill it for a few minutes each side.
It’s nice to have maybe for special occasions so you don’t over under cook Xmas dinner. But for your everyday steak, I would rather grill it myself. Throw it on the grill for 6 minutes and your done. Sous vide would take 2-3 hours
Do you need a midwife when you cook this way? What besides steak?
