      Simplicity DC pumps

I recently upgraded my tank and replaced my Mag7 return with a Simplicity 2100DC and my Octo skimmer with a 320DC. OMG!! The tank is so quiet. I'm super impressed. It's too early to comment on the reliability, but so far performance is as expected and sound level is amazing. FYI

Thanks for bringing this up... My pump stopped working a few weeks ago. I did a citric acid soak and can freely move the impeller, but the pump wort start. Also, I dont dose kalk, so its pretty premature for the pump to die. I havent taken it apart yet, so could be salvageable, but who knows.

So about a year? Should still be covered under warranty. You was gonna get a couple for returns on my 300g. One for use and the other for a backup, which it sounds like I will definitely need. Keep me posted

Oh, didn’t specify, this was for the skimmer pukp. The return pump seems to be working fine. Nice and quiet, I try not to stop it more than I have to, just slow it down and o feed and to WC
