What do u have in your sump?

So I have seen people with bio balls , bio filter Media and cheto. So I was wondering what to put in my sump to have it thrive and stuff. I will be having a reef tank hopefully filled this weekend or next. I want to make the best moves to get it going and not have to turn it off and adjust stuff.

      Sump’n Else

I run 100micron socks, to a chamber w/skimmer; 2nd chamber: pump to 25m canister filter+chiller returns to same chamber. Also in that chamber I have a sm reactor with a small amt of gfo+carbon (sometimes just carbon) that I chg weekly. I also have an overflow that dumps directly into a fuge (used when needed) then empties into that 2nd chamber. The 3rd chamber has my returns & is where I dose. As you maybe guessed, I’m a fan of mechanical filtration & will probably even add a pool (diatom) filter down the road.
