I built this a few months ago for my 50g macro tank, but I need blues to keep my red macros growing so I had to regrettably switch over to a black box LED.
These are CREE 5000k 19w LED dimmable floodlights wired to a smart dimmer that is wifi/alexa capable. Works awesome, schedulable and dimmable from 1-100%, crazy bright (I had mine around 20-30%), grew caulerpa and chaeto like crazy. The LEDS are 90+ CRI so they have great color reproduction too.
Just looking to recover the cost of parts, it's all built and ready to go. Built them for a 2x4' tank footprint but you could go bigger if you raised them high up. Hanging kit included but you'll need ceiling hooks.
