      Zoa ID ??

Does anyone know if there is a name for these zoas? I picked them up recently as a random frag at one of the local stores and it doesn't look like anything that I'm aware of but they look pretty interesting so thought I would see if anybody has seen them before. Thanks for any input, and feel free to add some name suggestions. I was thinking about calling them nuclear eclipse zoas if nothing else better comes up lol.

Ahh ok, I think you nailed it Derek. It's a definite match! They're very similar to a Stiggy Marley too but I think there are some subtle differences. Thanks guys

Really?? Well those pinkish highlights in the first pic aren't really pink fyi. That's just the way the light is hitting it, but if it really is Stiggy Marley's I'm not arguing, but somehow I feel like if it was in the $10-15 bin it was most likely a lunar eclipse lol 😂. If I can get a better pic I'll post it later.

How big are the polyps Jonas? Big polyps they might be X-men, smaller polyps most likely lunar eclipse.

Thanks Jason. This probably doesn't help much but I would say medium size polyps. When I first got it they were small but they have gotten a bit bigger since being in my tank but definitely on the medium/smaller side. We'll say Lunars until proven otherwise. Look for them this fall/winter on a Sdr Livestock post near you. They're super cool I really dig them

Mine aren't quite as "speckled" or colored up as yours are but they're pretty close bro. Did you ever take any frags into AW or know anyone who did? If so then these are probably them.

Here is another attempt at a photo:

Shoot me a text if you wanna talk about it further.

Hey so I just wanted to let you all know that after talking about it further with Saintreefer, according to Vance aka Tunabullet/VWReefs and based on my photo, these are Lunar Eclipse's. I think that about wraps it up unless someone has anymore to add. Thanks for the help everyone!
