Polyp Extention in Newly Introduced SPS

I just introduced a new, nice SPS frag into my tank. It came from a very similar system and was getting a lot of light in the other tank. I introduced it yesterday and the polyp extention was great. I moved it today to what i think is probably similar PAR and flow. The polyps are now pretty retracted. Should I move it back to the bottom or just let it acclimate?

      Parameters:
      Alk 7.8-8.3
      Calc - 405-420
      pH - 7.9 - 8.3
      Nitrates - 5
      Phosphates - 0 to .05
      Lights - LED/T5

Moving it back down to the bottom won't hurt just to cross that off the list but most likely it's reacting to something different in your water chemistry and the polyps might stay retracted until or unless it acclimates. Just make sure it's not getting overwhelmed by direct flow in the new spot you gave it if you choose to leave it.

both systems scripps and LED/T5s. Seems like a match made in heaven.
It maybe getting too much direct flow. If it's not better this "morning" ill move it. too bad, I l liked the spot.

Leave it in a spot for a week or two and see how it is. It will take time to adjust to new system, lighting, flow, etc. moving it around too much will do more damage than good. Even established corals will have days they won’t open much or at all. So just give it time!
