the hobby is certainly not dead... it would probably help if you posted pics here or added better descriptions in terms of how many stage the filter is, how old, if it's working perfectly etc. The pic on CL looks like it's missing one or two canister housing. maybe it's just no one needs one right now *shrug* glws.

People generally won't buy used consumables like filters unless its unused. Who knows how old it is and how much life is left.
