I picked up two handfuls of torches for less than most peoples asking price for one Indo gold torche.

I also have a medium indo colony, and they are not exponentially better to demand that price tag IMO.

its because torches from areas besides Indonesia are still available for collection, whereas Indo coral collection has stopped. Only reason for price. Take care of your Indo colony, as of now you can’t just go replace it very easily. Also those Tonga torches won’t extend much beyond what their pics show. Nowhere near the length of Indo torch polyps

Reeflounge USA is an awesome shop; grabbed a couple Cristatas (Tonga torches) from them a couple weeks back. For those interested buyers- they are cool torches but def not indos (they look more like an indo in too much flow).

I fully understand why the value is inflated. I just don’t feel right asking $300-400 for a head or two when I paid around $100 for a multi-head a couple of years ago.

You are correct about them not extending the same. They are still very nice for those who want some “gold” but want to pay copper prices

So here’s the deal. I already had pms about getting some torches. I can swing by next week and see what they have left but I would need prepay before picking up. I have a new 120 with 9 in there already and can hold for anyone.
