      GF Wye valves omitted
      45s replacing 90s
      PVc from top of union to bulkhead elbow will be flex when do the actual plumb

      I’d say get rid of the ball valve and have a perfect T to have even flow

      I think the valve is there to help make sure the flow is even or can be adjusted. Without the valve the flow won’t necessarily be the same to each side.

      The valve is placed only to control the right (technically left) return.

      Correct. Which would limit the flow to the further return. With this design it’s likely that the further return would have higher flow rate.
