For dry food, I like the Ocean Nutrition formula one pellet and the formula two flake. I soak both of these in Selcon for a few minutes before feeding.
Those two plus an occasional frozen cheap (hikari?) mysis had good results.
PE mysis if you wanna spend a few more bucks. I'm sure there's a side by side done out there somewhere.
I also used to feed the formula one frozen pretty often, also good results.
Oyster eggs are excellent, especially for picky eaters like mandarins and some wrasses, but they're expensive.
I used to hatch brine too when I had the picky fish, it was pretty good and not terribly expensive.
All of this together (and a macro-heavy tank) I had great success with my store bought leopard wrasse and my spotted mandarin a few years back.
