Want to start a pico reef - suggestions?

I have had an itch to start a new pico reef tank and want it to be a mainly a zoa tank with maybe 1 clown fish and a shrimp. I like the Lifegard Aquatics full view 7g tank with built in back filtration. What lighting would you recommend? A Kessil A80 tuna blue with spectral controller or an 18” Current USA Orbit Marine LED? Other suggestions? Would I need any other lighting? Any suggestions to make this tank successful would be appreciated!

I have a A80 tuna blue on my 1 gallon pico and it's awesome. I really have no idea if it would work on your tank but it's gotta be better than the current usa orbits, ive heard not too great things about those. The link acb sent is a good setup, I would grab it if I had the extra funds

Heck yeah man, do it! I just set up a 15 gallon and I’m in love. Pico/nanos are my Fav to tell you the truth. I recommend a Nuvo10 with a AI PrimeHD. Or even a Immumagic Blaze Mini(something that I wanna try on a nano). Get your self an ATo system and call it a day. Do your water changes and enjoy the tank.

A Kessil A80 is a great choice for a pico zoa tank and honestly I wouldn’t want something more powerful as it probably won’t make as much difference as people expect growth-wise, plus it’ll put off more heat which tends to be a huge concern for pico tanks.
