I’m selling my Clear for Life 100 gallon tank (just the tank and associated parts) as I changed up my system a few weeks ago and no longer have need for this tank. It’s two years old and has the typical light scratches and swirls that you would expect from a two year old tank. It also has some small & regularly spaced marks in the seams which I assume are from manufacturing, but on a positive note, they haven’t grown or otherwise changed in two years of wavemaker action. I’ll say they’re a non-issue. I’ll also be working to remove said scratches from said tank tomorrow and should be able to get it into much better shape and probably perfectly fine by most people’s standards (I’m really picky with this stuff). The tank is peninsula drilled and fitted with an Eshopps Eclipse L overflow and as anyone who has seen this setup running can attest to, the drain system I designed for this tank is freakishly quiet, yet easily handles around 450 gph return flow to the tank. It’ll handle well over 800 gph but that’s harder to keep quiet as it starts relying more on both the primary and secondary drains. The tank also has a single drilled 3/4” return pump inlet into the tank. It’s situated to minimize any back siphoning in case of power outage, not that it really matters. I tried to be thorough when I set this tank up. Lids are included as well.
Measurements are 60”L x 18”W x 20”H
The Eclipse L overflow box accepts three 1” bulkheads in case you want to change things up.
I’ll add pictures of the tank in its current state tomorrow but for now, here are some picture of it in its heyday. Also, it’s been filled with vinegar solution and thoroughly cleaned so for once, someone here isn’t selling a tank that smells like a dumpster at the Embarcadero. I’m located near cowles mountain and grossmont college (san diego/la mesa-ish)
