So I got home last night and noticed my Shrimps ass inside on the Nems mouth. I was so freaked out. I didn’t wanna disturb them so I let it be. I left, and when I came home his head was inside now. Soooo bazaar! I was thinking maybe he’s about to molt And he’s using the sticky Nem to hold his old exoskeleton.... later on at night the shrimp was out and chillin by the Nems “cage”. Seems fine but has mucus on his front pinchers. Anyone else seen this happen before?

Looks lonely, maybe he thinks he's a nem shrimp lol. My fire shrimp won't come near nems in my tank. Easy meal for those suckers
Also What’s weird, he’s never been to that side of the tank. He hangs on the left side. That would be cool if he starts hosting!

Bro I think you (and the shrimp) might've lucked out! That's a fire shrimp...They're usually cleaners and don't regularly host nems. I think it got nabbed and was getting eaten but for whatever reason (maybe too big of a meal or something) the rock nem let it go and the shrimp "walked it off"

That’s what I thought was happening. But he’s still alive and is hanging around the Nems. I don’t get why he was on that side of the tank and why he’s not hiding right now. He’s usually super skiddish. Probably too big of a meal is correct. Or maybe he was “cleaning” the Nem. Shoulder deep inside that B. Hahaha
