      Angry spouse here.......

Can anyone help with Chris's Red Sea tank?

Skimmer is filling up quick with clear water, what I am guessing is not "skimmed"...

1- I do not know how to turn it off to empty
2- I do not know how to stop this

I have dialed (slowly) the two dials closest to the skimmer, this does not seem to be working. I am hoping someone has insight as I am not emptying this SOB throughout the night without losing my mind first.....

Earlier the back chamber was low on water, made a noise and I rectified that situation. A few hours later, here we are.

I do not know the specs of this tank, it is a pain in my ass. What I do know is that is is said to be simple and easy to do, so I come here.

      thanks.

update: all seems well at this time

I think when you added water, your water level became higher above the skimmer neck. I would take some water out till it stops over skimming.

Agreed. Water level was probably just too high so it’s over skimming. I’d just turn the skimmer off for now.

umm.... I can't turn the skimmer off as I have a few days of Solo Fish Daycare.....

However, I believe when it started overflowing I turned it the wrong way, closed it rather than opening it...

All is well for now... Thank you.... Well the fishies thank you for your responses..
