Yeah, idk why it does that. People usually don’t have a problem sending me messages. And sometimes they do.
Also interested depending on price per head.

Here's the deal... you guys find Aussie Gold Torch available online.. and post the price and I'll beat the heck out of it..
Also post price if they are not available.. and links to the site.
Sounds fair?

$60 to $80 seems a good price point per head.

Wanted to clarify some stuff. Once I get the details ironed out.. I'll have exact price per head and also discounts for multiple heads. I'm gauging interest for now. Rest assure, sdr reefers will get the best price.
Time frame will probably be late May if I can make it work.

The price I posted above is a joke lol .. this shops down to selling Chaeto so go figure he’s prob not updated prices in a while. Made me nostalgic of the old glory days of affordable prices before things got a little wacky with the indo fiasco.
I've found prices as low as $80... BUT "not in stock" or "sold out".
Some places to resort to posted ridiculously low prices.. but "sorry, we don't have that in stock right now... but we have this coral instead" . LOL
Bait and Switch 101.
Australia is a 14 hrs differences with us, so communication is a little slow.
Anyone with experience with Aussie Gold Torch please chime in with questions I need to ask the collector.
To be fair, most LFS will sell chaeto; nothing wrong with that. The information you posted is dead on correct with Gold Torch Coral. This is why they are going for a premium.
Here are some cost to consider:
1. Divers to search for and collect corals.
2. Store them until there's a buyer
3. Apply for a permit to export them w/ fees
4. Package them
5. Tran-ship them to the US. (big cost)
6. Pick up and unpack carefully to avoid shock
7. Store them in a facility with careful monitoring (systems, AC, electrical, water, LABOR) (big cost)
8. Account of dead corals
9. Try to find a buyer.
I know alot of you are joking about $30/head, $60/head, $80/head. It's funny.. but if you're serious about getting the holy grail of euphyllia corals, Gold Torch are pretty much it.
I've tried to replied to everyone's pm about prices. Please continue to follow this thread for updates. I'll be as transparent as possible.
This is kinda like pick my favorite color, so if you are doing a group buy maybe a ball park price would be helpful to get a better idea of who wants in.
Around 150 a head is a deal imo
