      How are your controllers mounted?

So today my new IM Nuvo 20 got delivered. Gonna build a stand for this tank as well like I normally do. I have a Reefkeeper now and would like to see some ideas on how some of you have mounted your controllers in your stands or how you’ve done your cable managing to make everything clean. I just want ideas to think of before I just start building something. Only other things I will have under the stand or incorporated are my 5 gallon ATO and to the side of the stand I’ll have my little chiller.

      Post some pictures if possible.

Here is the tank. Not the permanent stand but it is the location it will be in.

Hey, nice tank. I wish mine were a bit cleaner but this was my setup. I mounted the power strip high so that it’s away from water and so I can get to the plugs easily. Hopefully soon I can make a dummy wall and keep all the electrical behind it(right side). Then use corrugated piping to run all the wires through and into the dummy wall.

Ya I was kinda thinking of sectioning off my stand area and putting a side door to access and mount all my power strips. Some of the stuff I see on Instagram and other sights is just crazy with LED accents and mounted tablets for Apex units.

If you can I would make it all bad ass. Take your time and do it right. Looks better, it’s fun to do and it makes everything function properly. Only problem I might have is when it’s slimmer cleaning time. I’ll need to cut all the zip ties just to release my skimmer power cord. Put some LED’s in There if you can, makes it easier to see when working.

Mounted mine on the outside of stand. No room on the inside.

So dshillen kinda gave me an idea of sorts.

I’m thinking of getting and incorporating something like this mounted into the side of the stand. With a little modification I might be able to make it work. Mount all my controllers and Reefkeeper stuff. Maybe find one with glass windows so I can accent it with LED’s. Make it look kinda fancy I think. If I have to cut the thing down it would be easy.

      Thoughts?

I just use a little cabinet from ikea and hide everything away in it along the side of my tank. Doubles as a stand for my nano.
