      Successfully eliminated all aptasia?

Have anyone successfully eliminated all aptasia in their tank? I thought I was aptasia free until I looked at the tank at night. Saw some under a rock and killed it right away... then look some more and saw tiny ones in between polyps of zoas colony, killed them and life was good.

I've been at this almost every night but always seem to find 1 or 3 more babies.

So my question is ... am I gonna have aptasia now or is there a way to completely eliminate them without tearing down.. is it even worth tearing down the tank?

Biological solutions mostly for controlling though. Wanted to see there's a way to completely remove them.

I bought 5 peppermint shrimp to try and get rid of a small aptasia outbreak. Next morning all 5 were stuck in or chopped up by my vortechs.. tried the f aptasia I linked above and it killed most of them the first round. Spot treated ever day after that and now I haven't seen anymore. I will always keep this stuff on hand. Works way better than aptasia x, in my experience

Filefish do really well until they finish the aptasia and start eating zoa/palys.

I just ordered 3 bottles just so I have them on hand. Thanks! Looks like what I'm looking for in the frag tank so it's easy to move stuff around in there.

Be careful, it will cause a ph and alk spike if you use a lot of it at once. Also, it will kill coral if you get some on it. I intentionally killed some favia and pocillopora I didnt want

I added 6 shrimp to my 12g that was ingested badly large and small now it's super clean and I feed the shrimp a little daily to maintain them from eating coral

Gonna try some berghia first... if my wrasses eat them, I'll have to try peppermint shrimps.

Big ones are easy to kill.. I'm see tiny ones between polyps that I'm worried about.
