Got a few PMs asking about dosing and filter setup. I’ve been using a VERTEX RX-C 6D calcium reactor for 90% of the dosing. Also some Ziovit line of trace elements and coral system 500. It’s not a true Zio system. I run a sump with a live rock, skimmer, bio pellet, GFO, and a refugium reactor. I also use activated carbon religiously. 5 gal/week automated water-change through my Apex controller.
A bit overkill on the filters but having 3 redundant systems has safeguarded my tank through a few potential crashes and keeps things very stable.
Lights: 2 Kessil A360’s supplemented with 4 T-5’s.
