      Nyos Torq

I've never been able to control my phosphates as well as I'd like. Most reactors I've used havent tumbled the gfo like ive needed either. So I'm trying out the Nyos Torq. Pretty nice quality out of the box

Sick one man... i only use phosguard on a mesh bag and my tank is very low on phospates... but i dont really have to many fishies and dont feed heavy so yea, i guess that helps me too... plus i do 50% water changes every friday... but with that i think i would be in zeros... lol

How do you like it? I’d love to just swap canisters but wondering if there are any drawbacks to the design.

I like it a lot. Easy to change media and pretty powerful. I don't miss the hoses at all lol.

Great thanks- yeah it surprises me that they use the same pump for all 3 body sizes. glad to hear it lives up to expectations.

Hey Clint would you recommend the 1.0 or 2.0? Are you running both carbon and Gfo or just one? I want one I’m my 120 but I want to run both, make my sump area look cleaner with less cables and hoses.

The 1.0 would work great for your tank size

Nice thing is that it’s the same pump and, down the road, you can upgrade to the 2.0& it will fit the pump. (And still have your 1.0 body)- fwiw- they are the same height, diff diameter.
