Anybody have any tricks to getting pumps to stay fastened to glass using the rubber suction cups? I have 2 diff pumps that can’t seem to stick on the sides for very long & wondering if there’s anything I can do to improve the seal.

Don’t they have magnets on the outside? What brand?
Anything rubber (ie auction cups) will degrade and get stiffer over time, losing their suction. You will have to replace them periodically - or even better, replace with a magnetic holder.
@cshplumber: a rio pump that I’m using as a powerhead on the side of my fuge to rotate chaeto and a sicce pump I’m using in the DT to feed a uv sterilizer.
@lotsafishes: good call- I’m all for switching to magnets-do they make something or is it a diy with some superglue and ceramic [stong earth] magnets? (Also hope all is well~)
Oh. So it’s a block shaped pump with small cups for feet instead of a wave maker. It’s fabrication time. You could glue to a mount for Tunze product or Jebao but for most of those, the other magnets are designed to be used out of the water.
