Red Sea Reefer 450 vs. Waterbox 130.4

As the title says; Red Sea vs Waterbox. I’m trying to decide which of these two tanks are better. They both seem very similar. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like I could go wrong with either, but wanted to see fellow reefers opinion on the matter. Let me know what you guys think and why. Thanks!

I personally would go with waterbox.
There tanks look like there very high quality!
Plus your trying something diffrent not the same boring red sea. Not that there bad tanks. But been done before always nice to try something new.

      Live on the edge🤘🤘🤘🤙😎

On the good side Red Sea is a established aquarium company. Definitely a hard choice.
But I would go with WaterBox📦😁

@nanoreef1 thank you for your input. I was actually leaning towards the Waterbox already. This is a big purchase and want to make sure I choose wisely, hence why I’ve started the discussion. I plan on making my final decision by the end of February.
      So far the score is:

      Red Sea: 0
      Waterbox: 1

I’ve owned a Red Sea and loved it they have their flaws and their perks as does water box. Imho If and well when I do another large system I’d just have a custom built that way you can really have a stand out system. Crystal dynamics isn’t far from here and I’d have one of those beauties over any other complete display. And for that size you’re not looking at much difference but defiantly more
      Money.

I just took a look at Crystal Dynamics. They truly have beautiful looking systems. Unfortunately it’s out of my budget. If only Red Sea or Waterbox came with Trigger sumps. *sigh*

Couldn’t wait six months to make budget work? A custom quote for the size tank you want is how you should find out price also bc what’s on their website isn’t really a good grasp of price point.

      Update just in!!
After months of research and seeing all sorts of nice aquariums, I have decided (and already purchased) my first brand new tank.
      And the winner is...Waterbox 130.4
The Red Sea is a very nice tank, but I’ve read a lot of complaints that their filter socks are proprietary and cannot be swapped out with any normal sock. Plus I want to use a Klir Filter roller and I’d have to make adjustments with the Red Sea sump. I also like the depth that Waterbox has compared to the Red Sea. It adds a whole new dimension to the build.
I’m excited to get this build up and going. Any suggestions on additions to the tank are much appreciated!
      Thanks everyone!
