      Hector's Cobalt C-VUE 40 AIO!

      Hello fellow reefers and friends,

The time has come for my upgrade, Nothing to crazy. I will be documenting the progress of this tank and build. The tank is a 40 gallon aio system made by Cobalt.

The tank has the foot print of a 40 breeder.

Going to be using my old Ai Hydra 26 HD from my IM 25 Lagoon. That tank is sold as soon as I move all my livestock over.

Getting a custom stand build at the moment from Valsaquariumfurniture@gmail.com
Check him out does crazy nice work. He has Facebook if you want to see his work. Last pic is his Facebook if you want to check out his work. Friendly and very honest.

      Now for the pics....

What happened to the 50 ext upgrade?

That tank looks nice but very restrictive for rock scape

Yeah I hear you bud, but just don't got the time and money to make that happen right now.😂 This one should do for now. I really want that 50 ext but if I get that I really want to get the best equipment available. Just can't do that at this moment. This tank is super nice very under rated for value and quality. I think it's one of the best looking tanks for the size and price. Can't be matched! Low iron glass super clear. Good quality.

Just hug the back with a nice scape, allowing you the rest of the sandbed to be utilized.

Little update I decided to paint the tank my self. Picked up last night.

Here's a few colors I was thinking about.
      Trying something diffrent.

The top will be white and the inside of the stand. Just front and sides will be one of this colors.

Haven't diceded on what color yet.

Preped last night. Did a few coats of primer Kilz.

Today going to have to redo and sand down the front the primer lifter the wood. Horrible
Have to redo before I could paint!

Last pic is of the primer lifted the wood some how? Not sure if it's too strong or the plywood
      Is too cheap?

Few pics to show progress. Will update more pics later of the finish stand. Keeping it simple.

For those lift spots you could place a trim over for design. And seal the crevice with a silicone/caulking

Update on the Cobalt C-vue 40 gallon

The tank is up and going already. Been a week already. Not ready to show it yet.

      Doing a few mods..

      Materials needed-

      - Drill gun
      - Drill bit 1/4
      - Double Bevel scoring edge cutter
      - Razor blade
      - Acril or plastic sheet
      - Sharpie

I noticed the water the goes to the back chamber splashes on the filter sock. Was very loud! Needed to do something about this..

Made this little acril sheet that goes on top of the filter sock. Made it fit perfect cut to 4 inches long by 4 inches wide.

Once you put filter floss on top it will be dead silent!

      Few pics... Warning
Could be way easier if I had a 3D printer😞

Be very careful and take your time I cut my self with the scoring edge cutter.😢
