Well, after trying barebottom I decided to go back to sand. It was driving me nuts and the father-in-law is coming to town soon, so I have to get this tank looking better. I also need to recoup the $50 to avoid my fiancé’s neon-clawed wrath.

Healing up a little after splitting it from an enormous brown paly colony and possible human-incapacitation/death. This is a very tough colony that’s been with me for years. It’s bouncing back nicely.
