      Reactor lid modification

Looking for ideas on how I can replace plastic screws on a reactor lid with an easier way to open. (Plastic latches?) Has to be able to hold water tight seal under 300gph of pressure. The goal is to be able to easily add media in place.

Is it really that to difficult to remove four nylon screws? It was designed that way for a reason.
Donít get me wrong, Iím in favor of finding easier/ better ways to do things but, Címon man!

Lol- thanks for the help. Maybe itís just me but the screws get stuck often (salt creep+ pressure) and can be a pain to deal with, tough to handle in place and usually ends up with me having to pull the reactor(s) out of the sump. To compound the issue, itís tight in my sump so pulling reactors out is an added inconvenience. I agree with the idea that the easier something is to do, the more likely it is to get done. Handling the reactors in place would surely make it cleaner and easier & I canít with those (pain to deal with) screws.

Run a nylon bolt up through the bottom of each screw hole and use a nylon wing nut on top of each bolt to hold down the lid. You shouldnít have to modify anything and youíll have more leverage that way.
