Just got a T 5 vho 8 balb light

Hey everyone Happy Hoilday’s and New Years . Am new to the saltwater world of fish keeping, however am not new to fish keeping. I just came across a solar wind T5 8 balb vho. . I don’t want to kill nothing being there isn’t a on off switch.if it is ok what colors would you use to get the best colors out of corals

Are you planning to run the lights 24/7 since there is no on/off switch?
You can not do that and have corals.
You need a controller, or timer for the lights and turn them on for about 10 hours per day.
I use 6 ati blue plus, 1 ati coral plus, and 1 giesemann super actinic, I am happy with my lighting choice for an SPS reef.
